Influence Model

Everything revolves around you – plain and simple.

The Influence Model is a theory asserting that work experiences, school theories, and a personal life all converge on one spot – you.  You are the center, and you control each circle and what happens next in them. While the world has influence as well, ultimately you control what comes out of your circle.

While converging solely on you, the circles also influence each other through their impact on you.  What’s more is that a person is always in a realm of constant learning – about self, work, theory, and life — also impacted by adjustments in the world around you.  After all is said and done, though, you control what happens next.  It is your qualities, abilities, talents, and characteristics that affect change or advancement in any of the circles.

Work, school, and personal life all collide upon one single force – you.  And, not only do they influence you, but they also influence each other through you.  While this may be a different perspective of living in a world of constant influencers, it serves to remind us that the most important force in life has always been ourselves.  Furthermore, when you find someone or company that places prime value on you, you know you’re in the right place and that they just get it.  As some movies like to say, “The ball has always been in your court”.
